Terms of service

 

KW Training & Development LTD are registered with the ICO (Information Commissioners Office).

Booking & Fees

All fees for consultation slots are payable at the time of booking.  All consultations will be provided via Microsoft Teams, telephone or zoom, which will be agreed at the point of booking.

Cancellations & refunds

50% refund will be given if consultations slots are cancelled within 7 working days of your booked time slot. If booking is not cancelled within 7 days of agreed time slot, then no refund will be given.

Duration of contract

Mental health consultations will be provided for the agreed length of time chosen, when booking your consultation slot. If additional time or follow up is needed, then this will be agreed and specified either at the time of booking or at the end of your consultation slot. Please note additional fees may apply for follow ups.

Services to be provided

General advice and signposting will be given around the areas identified on the KW Training & Development LTD website consultation page. Please note that this advice doesn’t guarantee services will be provided by any local authority, CCG (clinical commissioning group), primary or secondary care services. Advice, signposting, and recommendations given are based off knowledge, skills, and expertise of working in the health and social care sector.

A written outline/plan will be sent within 48hours of your consultation, detailing an overview of information, advice and guidance offered within your consultation slot.

Insurance

KW Training & Development LTD hold valid insurance with Markel Direct. We hold policies in the following areas:

  • Professional indenmnity

  • Public liability

  • Employers Liability

Confidentiality / Data Protection

Confidentiality relates to the transmission of personal, sensitive, or identifiable information about individuals or organisations (confidential information), which comes into possession of KW Training & Development LTD through its work.

Any personal data gathered will only be used for the purposes for which is it gathered and will not be disclosed to anyone outside of the organisation without prior permission.

All personal data will be dealt with sensitively and in the strictest confidence internally and externally.

  • All personal paper – based and electronic data, will be stored in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 and will be secured against unauthorised access, accidental disclosure, loss, or destruction.

  • All personal paper – based and electronic data will only be accessible to those individuals authorised to do so.

There can be occasions where confidentiality may need to be breached. Confidential or sensitive information relating to an individual, employee, volunteer, or member of the public or where it is against the law to withhold it. In these circumstances, information may be divulged to external agencies. E.g., police, safeguarding or social care on a need-to-know basis.
